P2P LIPI is a leading research center for social and political sciences in Indonesia with the competence to produce scientific reference materials both at the national and international levels.
P2P participates in the democratization process toward the creation of a national political system characterized by rationality, support for the accomplishment of the ideals of the people’s sovereignty, plurality, supremacy of the law, civility and full respect for human rights, improved people’s welfare and justice for all the people.
In carrying out its functions, the Center is committed to making contribution into the development of local and national political infrastructure as well as the enrichment of our knowledge about regional and international issues.
